Yup! You read it right. Our SPLASH! are recording their promo video!! It was an exciting experience creating the video and recording the song.

Last week (6/1/2012) we had the most unusual, yet interesting Show Choir class ever. We had a special guest instructor, Joshua Gui, who conducted our master class.
For you guys who's wondering what is a master class, it means "a class given to students of a particular discipline by an expert of that discipline" - wikipedia. Basically it just means we had a vocal class with someone who has expertise in vocals.

Unlike the usual "ma ma ma ma ma" and "do re mi fa so" vocal warm up, students were ask to hum and create sort-of a siren sound - while imagining there were papers to pick up from the floor! The rational is to stretch their vocal chords - in a safe way and also exercise their stomach muscle so they can support their voice. "Unorthodox" doesn't even begin to explain the experience!
There were other different methods and techniques that were taught by Joshua for the students to realize the usage of the correct body muscles to support their voice. Pictures or it didn't happen? Feast your eyes!

We kicked off the new year by introducing our new dance class!

The first class started last Thursday and it was awesome lot of fun! We danced to "Night Fever" with a choreography learned from the original Australian production itself!

December 2011 marks the time when EVERYONE in BA was running around all over Klang Valley to give out the best service we had. It had been super awesome, super fun and the people we work with was super great as well!.
Allow us to recap some of the awesome things that happen last month.
Gagaland
This is the first time Broadway Academy took the task of producing a Musical Theater with non-performer cast! We had only had one and a half month to train the young executives of SP Setia to dance and act!
Since these people were hardworking and committed bunch, the show turned out to be a huge success! Everyone was happy and highly satisfied with the end product.
So much that we still meet up to meet once in a while XD
